Jamaicans are everywhere! Hahaha! This week with Broadway performer, writer, songwriter…more, and a bright light of positive energy- Syndee Winters. We talk about lessons learned along her journey; coping with the current life and career changes and her deep Jamaican connection. This is Episode 14 of #MikesMomentOf - Theatre: One Jamerican Girl.

With over 15 years of experience on Broadway and on other stages, Syndee Winters' passion for helping others find their voice, is her true motivation. Her onstage credits include, Pippin, Motown the Musical, Hamilton and most recently returned to Broadway as Nala, in Disney's The Lion King. Hamilton. She has had the honor of performing in the NBC Live production of Jesus Christ Superstar starring John Legend + Sara Bareilles. Syndee has also performed before global influencers, Sir Richard Branson, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Oprah Winfrey.

Syndee is passionate about working with young people. She makes time to teach master- classes, workshops and private lessons to young artists. "It's crucial to affect possibility into a young person's life. I've had many people influence my journey, and it has made me the person that I am today.”
